Type A. Decisive. Opinionated. Curious.

This is how those close to me would probably describe me.

Hi! I’m Katie Belle Nelson, a 1st year doctoral student at the University of Georgia and Measurement and Evaluation Specialist of Critical Skills Development Programs at Northrop Grumman.

I love my job, so why am I here? Because I believe formalized workforce learning is largely ineffective, I want to explore how to connect informal learning, design, and technology to improve workplace performance.

When I’m not in class or working (I’m terminally on Teams), I’m more than likely hiking with my dachshund Max, hanging at the hangar with my husband, or reading my book at a brewery in Carrollton. No matter what, I’m probably asking questions and forming way too many opinions.
